OSHA Recordkeeping
The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration is in a legal battle over their new electronic recordkeeping rule, however, this should not stop employers from reviewing their workplace safety policies to ensure they are in compliance with the first provisions.
The legal battle has pushed back the rule scheduled to take effect Aug. 10 to now Nov. 1. The rule enforces electronic recordkeeping requirements for workplace injuries and illnesses and make such records publicly available.
